Going into Hospital – Checklist If you are going into hospital to have a baby there are a number of important items you will need to take with you. We have made up a list of items so that you will not forgot any of your essentials although please use this as a rough guide only as everyone is different and we may not have something on the list that you would choose to take with you! We advise you to have your bag of essentials packed well before your due date just in case your baby comes by earlier than you expected. We advise that you arrange for someone else to drive you home from the hospital as you will still feel sore at that point. For you 1) Dressing gown, slippers and warm socks for warmth and comfort. 2) Night dresses or a large t-shirts to wear in your bed and to give birth in! 3) Tissues those always come in handy. 4) Toiletries, make-up, toothbrush, brush those are your everyday essentials and you would be devastated if you forgot them! 5) Water spray or some sort of cooling spray you may feel warm in the hospital and those are perfect to help freshen you up. 6) Money and some change always best to have some to hand. 7) Mobile phone with top up cards you will want to call EVERYBODY after you have had your baby.
