Newborn Acid Reflux Archives

Question about newborns and acid reflux?

Ok. It has been a while. Now when the new baby spits up more than a table spoon or a table spoon of milk after feeding and burping, then searches for more feeding, is it safe to feed them again because they spit up some milk or is it safe to say they spit up because they are full? I was told it can be simply newborn acid reflux. So what is the deal? I am breastfeeding if this helps in your response.
Any parents out there with feedback from experience or info would be appreciated.

Newborn on zantac for acid reflux…..?

My newborn is on zantac for acid reflux, but making her constipated… I am debating whether i should keep her on it, or take her off… Anyone else faced with this decision? and what did you decide to do? (I am the type of person who likes alll natural things! no medication…or anything) Cause i think it messes with your naturalness lol… cause it is messing up her system and i would hate to mess it up while she is so young my baby is only a month old. and is exclusively breastfed :)

I think my newborn might have acid reflux?

I’ve been looking up questions on here about newborns with acid reflux and i think i might have to make an appointment with the pediatrician, because i think he has it. He has been puking sometimes its just spit up but other times it comes out of his nose and almost chokes, it only happened twice but it scared me to death. I thought it was just normal spitting up, but the last week hes been crying a lot more in general and cries when hes eating, that’s when i realized he might be in pain. He is half breastfed and half formula and does it with both, because at first i thought it might have been the change to the formula, but he does it either way, and sometimes its easier for him to eat smaller amounts, and not puke it back up. Does this sound like it? he is almost 6 weeks what will the doctors do if he has it?
