Our baby is 3 days old and my wife is nursing colostrum, not milk yet. She nurses for about 20 minutes and then he falls asleep and wakes up 15 minutes later wanting to nurse again. I can tell because he cries until I offer my pinky finger and he sucks so I hand him to my wife but she says she already gave him enough and shouldn’t give him more but I see that he wants more and insist. I don’t want to argue with my wife. What do we do?

My newborn is nursing for about 25 min and when she is done (during the time I am trying to burp her) she doesn’t burp she just spits everything (what seems like everything the has taken in) back up. What is going on and what can I do to keep this from happening every time?
Thanks for the feedback. I am going to try the burping in between. She will be 2 weeks old tomorrow about how long should she be eating for?

I was debating whether or not to get a glider but I have decided I will definitely get one. My question is: **Is it worth an extra for a swivel option in which would I guess allow you to rock side to side (1/2 circles) but mostly help with getting out of the chair with baby in your arms since the foot ottoman would be directly in front of you. YAY/NAY??
What do you think?
